Description of Position:The Project Management Consultant is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing technology projects to ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines. This role involves leading project teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and applying effective project management and agile practices to drive value in a dynamic client environment.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner with project sponsors and stakeholders to define scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, risks, and key milestones, while fostering an agile mindset where appropriate.
• Develop and maintain project plans and iterative delivery roadmaps when beneficial.
• Identify resource needs and assign responsibilities effectively, promoting collaboration and team empowerment.
• Set clear expectations and facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders.
• Lead productive project meetings, ensuring alignment across teams and encouraging continuous improvement.
• Proactively identify and resolve project challenges, embracing adaptive approaches to deliver value efficiently.
• Manage project scope and ensure changes are documented and approved through appropriate change management or agile backlog refinement processes.
• Oversee vendor partnerships when external consultants or contractors are required, ensuring seamless integration with internal teams.
• Track project progress, report milestones, and communicate status updates to sponsors and stakeholders using both traditional and agile reporting methods.
• Coach, motivate, and support project teams to drive high performance and foster an environment of collaboration and agility.Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in IT project management, preferably in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with agile principles and frameworks and the ability to apply them in a hybrid project environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, etc.
  • Proven ability to lead people and cross-functional teams, balancing traditional project management with agile practices.
  • Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Experience influencing senior management and cross-departmental teams.
  • Strong strategic and operational mindset, paired with professionalism and integrity.Education and Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
    • 3+ years of project management experience.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
    • Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe) are a plus.
    • Experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or healthcare is a plus.Work Location:
      • This role is based on-site in Concord, NC with a hybrid schedule (3-4 days per week in the office).
