Description:
Postdoctoral fellow position working with Dr. Zilberter on an NIH-funded project investigating the interplay between electrophysiological function, oxidative stress, and energy metabolism in Alzheimer's disease pathogenesis. The focus is on exploring the role of NADPH oxidase 2 (NOX2) in neurodegeneration. Research spans molecular, cellular, and behavioral levels, utilizing state-of-the-art electrophysiology and functional imaging techniques.
Qualifications:

• 
  
• PhD or MD in neuroscience or a related biomedical field.
  
• Strong academic track record with demonstrated research productivity.
  
• Proficiency in slice electrophysiology, including patch-clamp and field recording techniques.
  
• Experience with in vivo electrophysiology, functional imaging, viral vectors, or immunohistochemistry is a plus.
