a dozen Fortune 500 companies.What We Are Looking For:Distyl is
seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Brand to amplify our
mission and thought leadership across technical, business, and
executive audiences. The ideal candidate will shape Distyl's
narrative by highlighting the groundbreaking work of our engineers
and researchers, crafting compelling content for CXOs, and building
Distyl's reputation as the definitive authority on "Enterprise AI
Systems."
This person will lead our brand strategy and positioning in media
outlets like The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, and other
publications influential among CIOs and Fortune 500
decision-makers. Additionally, they will elevate Distyl's presence
in exclusive forums and high-leverage venues (i.e. Davos) to
position the company as a trusted partner for transformative AI
initiatives.As the architect of Distyl's voice and image, you will
collaborate closely with our engineers and researchers to showcase
their pioneering work through compelling technical thought
leadership. You will also be responsible for translating business
goals and technological advancements into creative strategies that
drive awareness, understanding, and trust across all audiences.
Additionally, you will create and maintain coherent and consistent
brand guidelines to unify how Distyl is represented visually and
verbally across all touchpoints.Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Strategy & Thought Leadership:
- Define and execute Distyl's brand strategy to highlight our
leadership in Enterprise AI, showcasing the impact of our
engineers, researchers, and solutions.
- Work closely with engineers and researchers to translate
complex technical concepts into accessible, compelling narratives
for business and executive audiences.
- CXO-Centric Messaging:
- Craft bespoke narratives and materials for direct engagement
with C-suite leaders, emphasizing Distyl's unique ability to drive
high-stakes, high-impact AI transformations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure brand messaging
aligns with the needs and priorities of CXO audiences.
- Content Creation & Collateral Development:
- Translate Distyl research, product, and solution narratives
into compelling brand content, ensuring clarity and accessibility
for customers, potential employees, and investors.
- Develop a robust library of content, including case studies,
whitepapers, opinion pieces, and research highlights, tailored for
enterprise decision-makers.
- Partner with technical teams to publish innovative insights and
thought leadership pieces that resonate across industry
verticals.
- Media Relations & Speaking Engagements:
- Build relationships with top-tier media to secure op-eds,
interviews, and feature articles that establish Distyl as the go-to
partner for Fortune 500 AI initiatives.
- Lead Distyl's representation at high-leverage forums, ensuring
our messaging resonates with the world's most influential
executives.
- Create media playbooks and provide training for executives to
effectively represent Distyl's brand and vision.
- Establishing & Maintaining Brand Guidelines:
- Create, implement, and continuously refine brand guidelines to
ensure consistency in visual identity, tone of voice, and messaging
across all mediums.
- Train internal teams and external partners on the use of brand
guidelines to uphold a unified representation of Distyl.
- Act as the steward of Distyl's brand, ensuring it evolves to
reflect the company's growth while remaining true to its core
identity.Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in brand management, creative strategy,
or related roles; startup or high-growth experience is highly
preferred.
- Skills:
- Exceptional storytelling, writing, and design sensibilities;
ability to distill complex ideas into clear, compelling
narratives.
- Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams to translate
complex concepts into accessible content.
- Expertise in managing media relationships and securing
impactful placements in top-tier publications.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and
manage external partners/agencies.
- Creative Vision: Strong portfolio demonstrating success in
building and scaling brands.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to consistency and
quality in brand representation across all materials and
platforms.
- Builder's Mentality: Comfortable developing strategies and
processes from the ground up in a fast-paced, dynamic
