As an Unarmed Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your role involves conducting regular rounds, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. This position requires a proactive approach to communication and interaction with the public, aligning with our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. • Provide customer service by executing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.Minimum Requirements:
  • Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
  • CA Security Professional Guard Card is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
