Volt is immediately hiring for Fleet Maintenance Supervisor in
beautiful San Franscisco, Ca.
This is a Full-Time/Direct Hire opportunity.
Schedule: Typically starts between 3/4 AM. (Flexible work
schedule)
Compensation: Up to $121,000 Annually
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
About the Role:
As an Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, you'll schedule and direct the
team, ensuring our vehicles and equipment are in top condition, and
our facilities are well-maintained.
What You'll Do:
Oversee maintenance shop operations, minimizing downtime.
Support the Equipment Maintenance Manager.
Ensure adherence to maintenance policies, company procedures, and
any union agreements.
Assist with purchasing parts and supplies.
Maintain accurate records of service, repairs, and inventory.
Conduct facility and equipment inspections to ensure safety and
compliance.
Investigate equipment failures and accidents.
Maintain strong communication between the maintenance team and
operations.
Be available for emergencies 24/7.
Qualifications:
3+ years of fleet maintenance experience, union experience is a
plus.
Strong supervisory, planning, and budgeting skills.
Experience with preventative maintenance programs and maintenance
facilities.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance audits.
Experience with various processing equipment (balers, conveyors,
etc.) a plus.
Valid Driver's License.
Class B Commercial Driver's License (no air brake or automatic
transmission restrictions) required within six months of hire.
