About The RoleGrocery & Retail is a fast-growing startup within
Uber that enables consumers to get just about anything delivered
through the Uber Eats app or UberEats.com. The Catalog Operations
team is responsible for mirroring on Uber Eats the product choices
available to customers in the physical stores of our merchant
partners. As a Catalog Operations Manager, you will drive growth by
maximizing high quality product selection on the platform. You will
have high ownership of your work and will partner
cross-functionally with other teams (e.g., Engineering, Sales,
Partner Management, Product) to lead high-impact initiatives,
troubleshoot day-to-day challenges and make our processes more
efficient.You will succeed in this role if: you thrive when faced

continuously; and you value ideas over hierarchy.What You'll Do
- Strategy: Identify opportunities to improve our merchant
catalogs and improve our processes. Build plans to execute on those
opportunities.
- Data analysis: Dive into large, complex datasets to diagnose
problems and identify opportunities. Build your own analyses and
dashboards to measure your projects' success.
- Experimentation: Design and run experiments to explore new
opportunities.
- Stakeholder management: Orchestrate and bring together a wide
range of cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering,
Product, Sales, and Partner Management while driving accountability
to ensure deadlines are met.
- Handle the big picture and the tiny details: Drive and support
several key initiatives + ongoing work while also keeping an eye on
the big picture. Stay organized and be willing to wear many hats
and jump in as needed to help the broader team.Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in a related field
(analytics, tech, operations)
- SQL and Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous
environmentPreferred Qualifications
- Experience problem-solving and proposing unique solutions to
complex issues
- Proven ability to balance multiple critical tasks, stay
organized and consistently deliver against hard deadlines
- Strong data skills including more advanced SQL skills and
scripting
- Experience working with technical teams
- Experience improving and scaling processes
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skillsFor
Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is
CAD$89,000 per year - CAD$99,000 per year. For Chicago, IL-based
roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$95,500 per year -
USD$106,250 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary
range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this
role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year. For all US
locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus
program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
