Job Description:

A seasoned senior project manager with 7+ years of solid project management experience for UCOP IT projects spanning multiple systems & technologies including infrastructure, Security, and Oracle Financials.
The ideal candidate must have demonstrable skills delivering projects in close collaboration with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners.


Education:

Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (IT, IS, Computer Science, etc.).

Experience:

Required Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of experience in project management.



Skills and Abilities:

Required Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of PM methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum).
Highly advanced skills associated with end-to-end PMLC for programs/projects of large-scale scope.
Demonstrated project leadership, reporting, and management skills.
Demonstrated effective communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to present/communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
Self-motivated and work independently and as part of a team.
Able to deliver projects timely within budget and defined scope.
Demonstrated complex problem-solving skills with a 'can do' attitude.
Ability to navigate through ambiguity.
CSM certification.




Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in higher education.
Experience managing cybersecurity and/or infrastructure projects.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
