You see projects through from the programming/conceptual design phase to the completion of the construction administration. Your attention to detail is essential as you prepare construction documents. With your great communication skills, you coordinate with consultants, contractors, owners, and team members to ensure that our projects are successful. • Project administration, scheduling and coordination.
• Interaction with clients and subconsultants.
• Utilize staff to develop plans, details, and Opinions of Probable Costs.
• Mentor and train staff.
• Exhibit a keen interest in a high standard of quality and accuracy.
• Visit construction sites to observe progress and conformance to plans and specifications.
• Manage client relationships.
• Collaborate with Parkhill's Marketing Department to improve existing marketing materials to present to potential clients.
• Adjust priorities when appropriate and perform other duties assigned to meet sector goals.
• Be a trusted advisor for clients in resolving issues that arise.
• Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve Parkhill's ambitious growth targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with target prospects.
• Assist the marketing team to develop proposals and respond to RFPs.
• Develop and mentor upcoming professionals.Qualifications
  • Registered Architect in the state of Texas or eligible to achieve through reciprocity.
  • At least 10 years of architecture design experience in municipal projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit Architecture, Microsoft Word & Excel, Bluebeam, and Sketchup.
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management software systems.
  • 15+ years of previous municipal design experience is preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients (ISD, Municipal, County), subconsultants, general public, and co-workers at all levels.
  • Must have excellent command of the English language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads.
