Commercial Operations Accounting (Consultant)About

detail-oriented and highly motivated Accounting Specialist to
support our Commercial Operations team. This role will primarily
manage and review gross-to-net accruals, accounts receivable, and
commercial and medical affairs accruals. The successful candidate
will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate
financial reporting and compliance with accounting
standards.Responsibilities
- Commercial and Medical Affairs Accruals
- Work with Commercial and Medical Affairs teams to gather inputs
for monthly accruals.
- Ensure accruals are recorded accurately and in compliance with
company policies and GAAP.
- Review supporting documentation and maintain schedules for
audits.
- Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
processes by preparing journal entries and reconciliations related
to revenue and accruals.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and variance analyses for
senior management.
- Audit and Compliance
- Provide necessary documentation and support for internal and
external revenue and commercial operations audits.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and SOX compliance
requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Medical Affairs
teams to improve processes and ensure accurate financial
reporting.
- Participate in ad hoc projects to support the growth and
development of the company's accounting operations.No matter your

& Skills Requirements
- BS degree in Accounting/Finance and 5+ years of relevant
accounting experience, including +3 years of Big 4 public
accounting experience and revenue accounting experience at a
publicly traded pharma company.
- CPA license preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, including advanced MS Excel (e.g.,
Pivot Tables, v-lookups, data merges, filters, and if statements)
and MS Word experience.
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
- Understanding of US GAAP.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills,
both oral and written, with the ability to prepare and support
effective presentations of financial results and/or analytical
findings.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and
draw valid conclusions.
- Self-motivated and the ability to work independently and
collaboratively are essential.
