Job Description:
Chime is seeking a Senior Compliance Associate, Governance to
join the Compliance team. In this role, you will play a key role in
formalizing Chime's compliance program, overseeing regulatory
change processes, managing policy administration, maintaining a
controls repository, and ensuring compliance training
effectiveness. Additionally, you will track and report on key
metrics to help senior management monitor compliance health. This
role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong
regulatory knowledge and excellent cross-functional collaboration
skills.The base salary offered for this role and level of
experience will begin at $103,680 and up to $144,000. Full-time
employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity
package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be
higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and
experience.In this role, you can expect to
- Establish and manage Chime's compliance change management
program, tracking regulatory developments and ensuring structured
execution of necessary updates.
- Maintain a centralized repository for tracking regulatory
changes, risk assessments, and implementation status.
- Oversee the Compliance controls repository, ensuring controls
are mapped to applicable regulations and risks.
- Maintain policy governance, including version control,
approvals, and organization-wide dissemination.
- Monitor and report on Compliance KPIs and KRIs to provide
visibility into regulatory change management effectiveness.
- Prepare dashboards and reports summarizing regulatory changes,
policy updates, control effectiveness, and training progress for
senior leadership.
- Develop and manage compliance training programs to ensure
employees are educated of regulatory requirements and internal
policies.
- Track training completion rates, effectiveness, and engagement
while driving compliance culture initiatives.
- Supporting, monitoring and executing on the Ethics program.To
thrive in this role, you have
- 5+ years of experience in regulatory change management,
compliance governance, risk management, or financial services
compliance.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks applicable to
fintech and financial institutions (e.g., CFPB, OCC, FDIC, Federal
Reserve, state banking regulations).
- Proven experience formalizing change management programs,
overseeing compliance controls repositories, and managing
regulatory reporting processes.
- Experience with data analytics and designing data lakes,
warehouses, and dashboard.
- Experience in policy administration, compliance training, and
ethics program.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to
manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability
to assess regulatory impacts and recommend compliance
solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of
translating complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable
steps.
- Experience with compliance tools, GRC platforms, training
management systems, and reporting dashboards is a plus.A little
